International Olympic Committee Vice President Mr. Lambis Nikolaou (Greece) will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game between Chinese Taipei and Venezuela scheduled for 19:00 at Field One Wednesday.

 

Mr. Nikolaou, a holder of a key to the city of Beijing, has been an IOC Member since 1986 and was also the Vice President of the Organizing Committee for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
