"It's a very good ball game. Both teams played well. Catherine (Osterman) threw good ball game for us. We have a couple of runs and she (Catherine) shut them out. It's a very good game at the highest level, and that's what we expected. I felt we had some opportunities that we didn't catch. They played well and played good defense, and we got the key hits when we needed them."

 

"I'm disappointed with the loss, and I'm very proud how my team played and how my girls played. They played the best team in the world, head-to-head today and held them to four hits. I don't know the last time when the USA was held to four hits. It's been quite a while. I'm really proud of the way we played but I'm disappointed that we lost."
