Location - The Fengtai Softball Field is in the Beijing Fengtai Sports Center located in No. 55, the South Road of Western 4th Ring Road, in the southwestern part of Beijing. The Fengtai Softball Field will serve as the venue for both the ISF XI WomenĄŻs World Championship and the 2008 Olympic softball tournament.
Facilities - The stadium includes 2 competition fields, 2 warm-up fields as well as a functional building. The Fengtai Softball Field offers standard competition facilities and functional rooms, such as batting cage and pitching machine for training, changing room with bathroom and special stand for players.
Completion - The construction started on 28th of July, 2005 and was completed at the end of June 2006.
Seating Capacity - The main competition field (show-court) has 9,700 seats, including 4,700 permanent seats and 5,000 temporary ones. The second competition field has 3,500 temporary seats.
