Facts and figures of Chinese Softball Association£¨CSA£©

The Chinese Softball Association (CSA), which originally belonged to Chinese Baseball and Softball Association, was established in 1986 and headquartered in Beijing. CSA is one of the Sports Associations affiliated to the All-China Sports Federation.

The CSA organizes and holds international softball events, national softball matches and training programs for players, coaches and umpires. The CSA is responsible for drafting the rules and regulations of the competition management as well as technical standards of players, coaches and umpires. Additionally the CSA qualifies players and coaches for the national softball team; and organizes the training of the national team and its participation in national and international events. To improve academic research on softball is also in CSA¡¯s concern.

CSA includes a national committee, a standing committee, a secretariat, a coach committee, an umpire committee, a scientific research and development committee and a media committee.
